Just called in after reading the reviews on the interweb. Really enjoyed the fabulous homemade burger ???? with crispy bacon and glorious Shropshire blue cheese with some great triple cooked chips. The missus had salmon fillet, dill sauce, dauphinoise potatoes and broccoli. Served up by the lovely landlady who was truly delightful. Altogether was a great stop, great food and welcoming staff. I urge anyone in the area to call in and give your taste buds a real treat
The food is just fab! A real unexpected find, a true local with a chef with true gastronomical talents the food is fresh, and 100% not out of a can, unlike some large chain pubs. You need to book a table as the chef's culinary skills are in top demand.
Just had a phenomenal meal here this evening, portion sizes are huge, food is fantastic, service is amazing. We will definitely be returning x
