Was cold in the restaurant as the heating wasn't on. Menu was pretty basic and things you could easily make at home. The plates weren't heated, mening the food cooled down a lot once served. Garlic bread had barely any garlic butter and was so hard it was like a giant crouton. Food was slow to come out. The cokes tasted strange and were half flat. Wow We walked in and was greeted by some friendly staff, who it turned out couldn't do enough to help. I had the Rib eye which was perfectly cooked and sweet potato fries, with the prerequisite English mustard. My partner had the fish and chips which she said was lovely if slightly overcooked. For desert I had the coffee with a small Eton mess, Small? it was as big as my partners raspberry tart. The waitress was lovely
The restaurant is a spacious pub with ample seating both indoors and outdoors. It was enjoyable to dine in the garden as the sun set. The drink selection consists of typical brands like Peroni, Amstel, Stella, Pravha, Guinness, Sharps Atlantic, and some cask beers. They may benefit from having more staff during peak times, but the employees that were there were friendly and welcoming.

I'm on the lookout for dog-friendly spots, and I think Sarah and Paul might actually prefer our dog to us! They went above and beyond for Bailey, even cooking him his own meal. He's typically a picky eater, but he couldn't get enough of Sarah's delicious cooking. This place is a fantastic choice for a country pub lunch, especially if you have a furry friend with you.
First time visiting today with toddlers and the dog , very welcoming and friendly. Bouncy castle in the garden and animals for the kids to see, food was very nice too. beautiful place to eat with the family. eating was nice and service was good. the staff was friendly and the restaurant was very clean. will return definitiw. only critique was that she had to eat one of my daughters early, but not my other daughter, so she had to wait.
We arrived without a reservation on a busy Saturday evening and were quickly seated at a table. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. We were served by several friendly and attentive waitstaff who were a true asset to the restaurant.

We had a fantastic meal at this restaurant. I would highly recommend the black or hunter chicken dishes. If you enjoy chocolate desserts, definitely try the chocolate flowerpot with edible flowers - it was not only beautiful but also delicious.
