The Crown Inn - Table reservation

We had a festive Christmas lunch today, the bar was beautifully decorated and a big tree, the table was beautifully decorated with crackers and serviettes, the food was out of this world, thank you to the chef, Rob and John served us and the bar man were all very helpful, thank you. Nothing was too much trouble, and we are going to recommend them to all of our friends, book here you will be as pleased as we all were everything was perfect. thank you to a great team. Always excellent. The service is wonderful and Rob always does a fantastic job. The food is delicious and the beer selection is great. This was my second visit this week and every time I come, the lovely landlord John is always willing to chat about football and is very welcoming. The staff is great and the overall atmosphere of the place is fantastic. I highly recommend coming here to be taken care of. I always enjoy this place and it never disappoints me.

Group of approx 7 children, running around opening closing the side door which we were seated right next to. They ignored our polite request to leave the door closed. Their parents caters took no notice the staff behind the bar didn’t take appropriate action either. Lovely evening with super food, drink service spoiled by this intrusion. I love children but these were rude unruly. Disappointed.

Booked a table on spec after a busy day and had a lovely meal. The specials menu was really tempting and great to see. Very enjoyable night and staff were amazing as always despite being very busy. Offer on main meals is very good value for money too.

I went for lunch on Saturday and was greeted warmly in a lovely atmosphere. I ordered the cod and chips, which was hands down the best I've ever had.
