We were a table of two for dinner mid week. We were shown upstairs where there was already a couple but they were only drinking, we were the only people eating during our visit. We shared a starter which was okay and ordered beef and...ale pies for mains. The food looked good on arrival but the meat within the pie was not good. Lots of gristle which I couldn't eat but my husband made a valiant attempt. We did say that the meat was not good enough and were thanked for our remarks but no allowance was made on our bill for a disappointing meal. moved to bath and discovered some of the big pubs in this wonderful city; the curfew is one of them. at first went for a bit of eating and a few pints withte the week without great expectations I pulled out of london and. I have used to get food on my teller about a brakes lkw, but I was pleasantly surprised by my meal at this first evening and the host, jamie, was friendly and warm, so I was back for a Sunday roast. as veggie I went to the chicken roast lunch that was delicious. roast chicken breast, roast whip, whip, fill and well cooked sides; including a large cauliflower cheese. all served pleasant and professional in a beautiful dining room. Me, my husband and 3 children went to the curfew today and what a lovely experience it was. The pub looks stunning with its Christmas arch and wonderful tree upstairs. We had a gorgeous Sunday roast there and what fantastic value for money. The meat...was beautiful and my fussy 3 children lapped it all up and had a ice cream sundae to top it off. Staff were all really friendly and happy to chat, they really make you feel welcome. Will definitely be back and I'll recommend this wonderful pub to anyone who will listen.
Small and unassuming from the outside but I’m congratulating myself for going in and asking for a table. It was exceptionally busy but we were found a table and the staff were great. We got a menu and ordered food. Came quickly and was lovely. Attentive and friendly staff as well as dog friendly. We were staying just down the road on Cleveland bridge, and would definitely go back when we’re next in Bath.

We enjoyed a really warm welcome from the staff at The Curfew. We found the menu interesting and well considered snd chose the burger chicken Caesar salad of which both were delicious. The wines were also excellent but we mostly enjoyed the friendly hosts...and the cosy pub atmosphere. This pub has everything. We will be back!
Visited recently with a large group of girlfriends during a trip to Bath. Booked ahead and pre-ordered food but no deposit required. The food was delicious hot and home cooked and served really quickly. The staff were delightful and nothing was too much trouble....A thoroughly enjoyable visit would highly recommend.
I dropped by the Curfew for dinner and I must say, I am not one to usually leave reviews but this place definitely deserves a shoutout. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional, all in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful evening.
Great menu , good service and great atmosphere . We went for dinner with friend , 5 of us on a Tuesday night before Christmas and were really impressed . Good choice of food on the menu and include vegi/vegan/ options too . Puddings are...amazing !
