The Good: The food was tasty and portion sizes were reasonable. The Bad: The food was overpriced for what we were given tempura seafood is VERY heavily coated and deep fried. The other dishes I did not taste myself but other party members had thesame opinion that their food was not really as appetizing as the fancy description. The prices reflected the fancy descriptionsbut the food didn 't really deliver. The older lady who waited on us was in training and was inattentive and a bit rude. The lasagna was good it had plenty of meat in it however it needs extra marinara sauce. Once I ask for a side marinara sauce I was told I would have to buy a side of bread in order to get marinara sauce at $2.95. I order the marinara sauce and was lessthan 2 ounces. 2nd meal: Daily special fried pork chop two sides. The fried pork chop was great the two sides were sautéedspinach and they?re red skin mashed potatoes. The Redskin mashed potatoes were OK the side of white gravy made them better. Stopped here to grab dinner and wasn't disappointed. Had the Surf and turf and the steak and shrimp were well prepared and very tasty. Steak was a decent cut a little fatty and cooked a little past my request but to be fair I did eat after the shrimp andit will continue to cook as it was served piping hot! All in all tasted great. My wife ordered the Chicken Carbonara and it wastender and cheesy and tasted amazing, liked it more then my steak. She ordered with vegetables vs noodles. Never had this waybefore but again was quite good. Waitress was super attentive and kept the soda refills coming and made sure all was to ourliking. Would visit here again.
Passed this restaurant many times and finally stopped. Wow. It was fantastic. The food, service and accomodations are all excellent. I will make this my stop when attenting Stripers games or after a long day at the mall. The food is outstanding and the prices very reasonable. I would highly recommend you stop and try it. What a cute place! The cakes in the display case when you enter the restaurant are absolutely mesmerizing! My French onion soup was deliciously peppery and filling, and I also enjoyed the wedge salad. I overheard people at the next table raving about their steak, I’ll have to try that next time. Very cute place and I love the name!
Fabulous food and service, as has always been the case here. Eggs, toast, and fries... Patty melt with fries... Liver with mashed potatoes and green beans. One of the best places we have found for getting beef liver! We didn't get dessert this time, but have liked all the different cakes we have tried here.
Large Group for a Birthday. Food tastes good. Service was not up to par. Impatient, spoke so fast unable to understand, hurried and did not care. Felt rushed and not taken care off.
Southwest Omelet with Grits and Biscuit was delicious and right off the stove. Everything was served warm. The server was terrific. I need to stop here again next time I'm in town. Book a table now
