The building is nice but every year it gets less and less maintained. You have to harass the super to fix anything, there's pests that are never taken care of, the leasing company is garbage and you have to harass them to even renew your lease! All the good doormen have quit and some of the new ones don't even look at you or hold the door for people holding multiple bags in their hand. Most people I knew on my floor have all moved away. Not sure how long I'm going to stay. I don't even ask much other than basic maintenance every few months but despite nearly $3000 per month I can't even get that.
I lived here from 2013 to 2016 and was very happy with my experience. I had no problems with the staff or management. The apartments are quite nice and spacious by New York standards, and the rooftop is a great feature. I also appreciated the relatively quiet neighborhood, which is a nice escape from the city hustle. I have wonderful memories from my time at the Contour!

The Contour is a great building to live in. The building is kept clean, the service is amazing, the amenities are wonderful, the building staff is friendly and outgoing, and the management office is easy to deal with and is very accommodating. It feels like living in a posh hotel. Highly recommended.
Great local place to have brunch or cocktails for that matter. It is nice to see places like dinerbar in the area and not just in Manhattan. Looking forward to returning
