The Docky Hut Cafe

excellent for paying and non-paid persons who need fresh air rest and time with nature. about the gift shop there is a boardwalk route and there are £8. helpful friendly staff to show them in the right direction if they want to finish one of the other routes. overrun cat park is great, but they have to go back at 16.30, as they block the tore. cafe was clean regular selection of hot diners / drinks, sand, the cake and top wrap up warm and ready for muddy boots in winter! helpful information boards available and a really nice afternoon.

we stayed here on the way from ely to cambridge and found the website very peaceful and interesting. the wood-panced and footpaths can be walked over this unique wetland landscape, observe the strange rare bird and see the lush vegetation. the drainage windpump was not operating at the day we were, as there was not enough wind, but it is an interesting part of this historic landscape.

beautiful location full of interesting animal world. well worth the entry fee. the skins are a beautiful little adventure, and the whole place is well kept. mike from the visitor center is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and gives us a look at the country and its history. toilets are clean and parking was no problem.

Beautiful wetland habitat there’s a small boardwalk and woodland walk section suitable for families and a longer route which we didn’t have time to do. There’s also an intermediate length circuit only open in summer. Glad we arrived early as it got very busy by late morning.

this is a great place for a walk in nature and in the rest. there are several walks and I took a stretch that goes to the upware ship lift. on a good day they can see many birds on their way, this route is not paved so that it is muddy in patches.
