Love this place, decent pub/restaurant. Often has themed events. Last one was a Halloween night and quiz night. Next event is on at 11/12/2022 at 12 midday to 6pm. A Winter wonderland style craft market, mulled wine, Carol singers, a brass band etc. Funds raised go to the Make a Wish Foundation and critically ill children. I found this place from picking up my son from the nearby school every day and wandered in from a burning hot summer day to shelter from the heat and cool down with an iced beer. School run has never been such a pleasure, now it’s winter and wait for my son in a warm pub with tea and snacks. This place faultless for their warm welcome every time.
We had Sunday lunch here and it was absolutely fantastic. I can honestly say, one of the best Sunday pub lunches I've had in a while. I had the beef, and it was tender, the veggies were cooked perfectly and the gravy was spot on! Staff were attentive and were a credit to the pub!
Best roast dinner ever had outside of home cooking . Staff really lovely and friendly . Wednesday quiz is fun. Dogs welcome e too
