We had meaning to book into the training restaurant at The Dome for a while and finally got round to it on a very cold, day in February, accompanied by a couple of friends. There was a warm welcome from the girl at the front entrance and we were shown to our table. The students were very attentive and we all chose a different starter and main. The food was of excellent quality and well cooked, although my OH had ordered the vegetarian option and was presented with the salmon and was told that the veggie dish had finished. We had lunch at the Dome Restaurant today with a group of seven people and we all unanimously agreed that the service, food, and atmosphere were the best we've had in a long time. The attention to detail was exceptional, with all our meals being served hot and at the same time. The only issue was a warm bottle of white wine, but it was quickly replaced with a cold one. We have no doubt that the server, who was likely a student, will learn from this mistake. We want to give a big shoutout to the students and staff at the Dome Restaurant for providing us with such a wonderful dining experience. Thank you.
