During one of my most recent visits to New York, I stumbled upon a place called Donut Pub. Their classic neon sign quickly pulled me from across the street and the awards hanging in their window pulled me inside. The humungous muffins and cupcakes in the window helped get me in too... Inside, the wall of Donut Pub was covered in racks of desserty deliciousness. I go to The Donut Pub but don’t eat donuts. Instead, I stop by this 14th Street establishment only for their Black White cookies $3.25 each served with a smile. When I moved to the city, I learned theirs are the best; as I learned Breads Bakery has the best chocolate babka. I stop in at The Donut Pub when I’m running around the city picking up bagels, whitefish salad, chocolate babka and black white cookies to pack when I’m boarding a plane to bring these goodies to family. When I’m heading to Paris, I purchase one all white Yup! they make all whites, but not all blacks! , for my daughter-in-law after seeing her only eat the white half!
There are apparently two doughnut shops in NYC that are definitely worth a visit, and this is one of them. Open 24/7 and located in a rather unremarkable area, the selection is fantastic, and the prices are very reasonable. We paid $18 for a box of six specialty doughnuts, which breaks down to about $3.75 each. The Croissant Doughnuts come highly recommended, but honestly, they’re all delicious, so go ahead and indulge! Oh, and why were there only three doughnuts left in the box? I think you can guess the reason!
On the second day of our trip to New York, we planned to meet some friends to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge and decided to grab a bite to eat beforehand. While we initially intended to get bagels, AngryRussian discovered The Donut Pub located close to where we were staying, and we were all excited to check it out!

Solid Donuts<br/ <br/ Had these donuts a couple of months ago. Favorite donut was the smores donut which was covered in chocolate and topped with marshmallow and graham cracker. I found that I wasnt able to eat as many donuts as I normally do because the chocolate was very rich and some of the donuts were dense
Classic NY coffee shop that has been brilliantly updated. The flavor a are amazing. It is like stepping back to older NY with better flavones. Friendly atmosphere and great food on top of the amazing donuts!!

Additionally, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making us feel very welcomed.

Donut Pub what a great name excited me because they had advertised red velvet donut bites. When I got there however, all they had left were glazed and powdered sugar.
OG Donut Shop. No frills. Great donuts and they've been jammin for 50 years.
