A friend I ,visiting Haverhill,found ourselves starving 9.30pm..so we popped into Drabbet Smock. Wow! So impressive..it was bustling. Super friendly ,fast service , tasty amazing value. My friend had never been to a 'Spoons before was totally happy with her herb chicken. My Halloumi fries salad were delicious.Added to the experience,neither of us had our reading glasses so asked for help from a group of local guys nearby.They were terrific sports. Going thru 'the menu finally loaning us a pair of glasses!!!Every visit to Haverhill now, we dine D B, bring others with us.
Was having a lovely meal with family then I realised I had a hair/fibers on my panini as iv already eaten half of it already!! Felt sick instantly!!! Looking closer at it, it was covered! The chap who was manager said it’s not a hair, I said I don’t care it’s all over it and iv eaten it. They refunded me for that meal. Don’t feel as if that’s enough tbh last time I eat from there!! I didn’t get a photo as I was fuming and wanted answer immediately! They couldn’t tell me what it was!
I recently dined at drabbit and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The chips, burger, and onion rings were all served cold. This was a 30 minutes wait This significantly impacted the quality and enjoyment of the meal.I hope the restaurant can improve its food handling to ensure meals are served hot and fresh. Despite this, the staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant,
The mains arrived, and there was more bean juice than beans... very disappointing. We ordered dessert, and it took 45 minutes to arrive and weren't even warm, very disappointing.

Cask beer “old leg over” was in top condition, as was the Adam’s..good to see some different beers apart from the bland green king beers and of course equally bland doom bar …
Saturday lunchtime drink and eats with my son. Nice pub with good atmosphere. Food and service is excellent.
Decent enough food, very quick service. Great if you *really* don't want to cook and are pressed for time.
Not a bad pub, but the food always turns up warm rather than hot. Still, they are consistently warm.
