As this place was recommeneded by almost all internet results for top ten pubs in South Wales we really thought we were on a winner coming here on the second day of our holiday. When we drove up to park the beautiful coastline took my breath away it was a gorgeous day so we decided to eat outside on the benches to admire the view of the beach. So far so good! As South Wales has wonderful culture history (my dad was Welsh I wanted to experience all this I was looking forward to enjoying some Welsh food, however the menu we were given was lacking. It was a Sunday so I settled for a Sunday roast only to be told No Sunday roast (only if you booked in advance ....Ok..I looked back at the menu did...
spent a very relaxing chilled out two days at this quirky place, so laid back with friendly staff. they also have the bonus to be able to walk the pembrokeshire coastway. had lunch and dinner in the dru and both were excellent....and the sunset was amazing. in the south roof room, with a fantastic view from the bed, it had a common balcony with the north roof room....big showers too, but do not go into the overall if they are the other guests next to the anxieties when they are on the balcony. rather expensive room price, but it is worth for a special occasion. not looking for a television or a lift in the top floor, they have to climb two treble flights and entertain themselves....but this...
You hosted the best Christmas party ever, thank you! Not only did you allow our quite frankly amazing panto performance but you served a delicious three course feast for 40+ people. A beautiful venue with fabulous staff. Three cheers for you all We will return...
