The tables were cluttered with empty plates and glasses. None of the kitchen staff or servers were wearing hairnets or hats. The serving counter was messy with dropped food, ruining my appetite for lunch. I did not enjoy the experience at all and would not recommend it. We were only given one roast potato and most of the Yorkshire puddings were burnt. The person serving the meat also seemed to be handling takeaway orders on their own. It appeared that the manager was cleaning the serving counter on her day off, which was not a good sign.

Good, cheap pub grub. Good prices and a good range of food and the food arrived quickly and was tasty. The children's menu was good portions and price also. The only reasons I would not give 5 star is because there was a bike inside the pub where you collect your cutlery and the place did need a paint. The card machine was not working which was a bit annoying because I never carry cash with me. Overall I was happy with the service and price and would go back.

Had Sunday dinner with 3 of my older children.. food was OK could do with a larger selection of veg and to at least put more than 1 roast potato on your plate.. nice pint to accompany dinner plates were a bit small and we noticed a few people dripping gravy walking back to seats..

"The chicken was dry and extremely greasy. The jacket potato was sitting in a pool of wet yellow grease. The hot dog bun was stale and hard. The tea towel they were using was absolutely disgusting."

A friend and I sat outside in the sunshine and had a couple of drinks and some chips. The place was cheap and cheerful with friendly staff.

It is a nice cosy pub but the beer prices are a bit high. £3.10 for a John Smith's when other places in the area are much cheaper. Book a table now

They always do lovely quality meals. Well worth the money. Especially the garlic dip. I always come here with my relatives.
