"We've enjoyed numerous meals here, and I can confidently say we've never had a bad experience. This place seems to be a favorite of my wife's, especially the chicken dish with crispy parsnips. I've tried various items on the menu, and everything has been fantastic. The staff is excellent, and the chef does an outstanding job. Well done, and keep up the great work!"
They usually go on weekdays, but decided to try the Sunday menu yesterday. We absolutely loved it! There was a generous portion of meat on the plate, and the vegetable selection was amazing. If I could suggest one thing, it would be to have bigger plates—there's just so much to choose from! The desserts were to die for. Thank you, we will definitely be back!
Have driven past The Duck so many times. So glad we decided to try it. Steak pear and walnut salad was amazing. The hubby said his steak was cooked to perfection. Then my pudding... well if I could pick my dream pudding it would have been the lemon meringue that was served this evening. Will definitely be going back!! Lovely service and fabulous food
what a beautiful pub. best Sunday dinner round and the staff is friendly, not schnobby. Okay not pretty from outside, but I don't eat the equipment. that is a real and honest local pub and the personal works hard. Book a table now
As a veggie the goats cheese tart option for the carvery was wonderful, veggie roasties and parsnips were also offered. The cheesecake was the best I've eaten. Great service too. Will definitely be returning.
Its a country pub with great food and a great welcome which you dont get everwhere we love it and wont go any where else they always look after us go give it a try you wont be disapointed
