Today, we had a wonderful meal at this restaurant to celebrate a family occasion. There were seven of us, including two vegetarians, a hungry teenager, and two children. The food presentation was impressive, the service was friendly, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the food itself was outstanding. The vegetarian roast was amazing, with perfect potatoes and parsnips, mouth-watering mushroom wellington, delicious gravy, and a tasty Yorkshire pudding. After reading good reviews and seeing photos on Facebook, we decided to visit this restaurant for Sunday lunch. We arrived around 2 o'clock and were greeted by friendly young ladies. Our drinks were quickly taken, followed shortly by our food order. We ordered three beef Sunday roasts and were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious, piping hot, and plated beautifully. This was one of the best Sunday roast dining experiences I've had. I highly recommend anyone in the area to visit this restaurant. It was an outstanding experience.
Today we went to the dusty miller for my sons christening and all I can say is, it was 1st class all round! From the organisation only two weeks ago with krystina, who was so accommodating from the beginning, until today and the amazing staff and food that was brought out for our 50 guests! The food was incredible (especially the aranchinis) and I would highly recommend to anyone. We will certainly be visiting again. All the guests have been commenting on the food aswell and were very impressed!! Thank you
My friends and I originally planned to just grab drinks, but we ended up trying some appetizers and sides as well. We were all impressed with how delicious the food was and were pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices for the drinks. The staff was very friendly and made our experience even better. We are already looking forward to returning for one of their special events or on a Friday night for the live music. On a side note, the bao buns were particularly outstanding.

Went for a Sunday roast around tea-time and it was great. The food was hot and there was alot of beef and veg on the plate. We also had cauliflower cheese as an extra and it was amazing!!! A must try rural pub with friendly owners.
I chose the suppe of the day that was served, pissing hot, with the pieces of both full grain and white crust bread and butter, and was made to house. I had for my main course roasted gambone, eggs and handcut chips.
VERY much improved. Great food (excellent 'Curry night ' great value). Good real ales. Friendly and helpful staff. Great ambience. What more do you need from a pub?
