Owner run whisky bar that I've been to dozens of times. Simply cannot speak highly enough of this place, from the beautiful lacquer wood bar top, truly amazing array of rare hard to find single bottlings from across the globe at great prices but where this place really shines is the service. No judgmental whisky snobs here, just good old fashion knowledgeable, friendly yet highly professional service. I love a great whisky bar, and The Elysian in Fitzroy is fabulous. A small and intimate bar with elegant decor and a wall lined with whiskies of all types; it's definitely a haven for lovers of this spirit.<br/ <br/ The drinks list is really good, and the cocktails are amazing. I enjoyed a Milo espresso martini which was a cool spin on the classic and absolutely delicious. Staff are friendly and attentive, and more than happy to offer up suggestions. It gets quite busy here, so it's clear I'm not the only one who enjoys this cool bar. The Elysian is a great place for intimate dates or group gatherings, and it's classy but welcoming vibe makes it very attractive for lovers of good whisky.
Went with my friends to The Elysian Whisky Bar as it was recommended by other friends. Honestly one of my favourite whisky bars in Melbourne. The staff are so welcoming and are so knowledgeable so you will get an amazing experience visiting this place. There is huge range of whiskies to try or grab a whisky cocktails. If you are a whisky lover, I cannot stress enough how quickly you should check this place out.

Stumbled across when randomly walking past, and so glad we went in! Had a few cocktails, and they were all really nice. Very friendly staff and management. Cosy venue, and had a lovely spot at the window. Will definitely be back.
Try their Espresslo martini. It's an interesting take on the espresso martini but south east asian style; combining milo, nescafe coffee and condensed milk with whiskey.
