"An oasis of modernity in the slightly faded but very friendly Ilkeston. Delicious and pleasantly surprising flavours, such as the Welsh Rarebit, the toast of which turned out to be lovely kohlrabi! Beetroot salad starter also a success. Charming staff too. The Factory Kitchen confusingly to visitors just round the corner from The Kitchen Factory is busy and clearly extremely popular at lunchtime. Get in there soonest."

the first time I was and will not be the last! how have I lived in ilkeston for so long and never tried to drop this place! to fall early and absolutely loved! while not the cheapest breakfast, the quality of the products more than for them. the location was tastefully done, and the staff is friendly and attentive. I love the fact that they also have a small art gallery and show local talent. two small suggestions for the owners. 1) they offer greater flexibility on orders. we wanted to order a few halloumi with breakfast next to our order (sometimes what can be ordered with another breakfast), but they said we couldn't. 2) offer more than a size of hot drink. small points but overall an exc...

dinner in the factory kitchen a nice family-run independent restaurant with great food. daily they offer coffee, cake, brunch and various snacks. they now make an early evening set menu £25 for 3 courses that is great and also the main menu if they want something else. as usual we could not decide, so selected from both menus. menu select gemoked lachs prawn fishcake confit packington pork belly baked rice pudding. from the main menu gemoked haddock scotch egg cornish hake loin it was all cooked to perfection and the staff are all nice and friendly. evaluation helpful as follows thanks.

loved it, loved it, loved it. the note is in the name for what is to be expected, but I loved the industrial feeling of the place that has substance a feeling of history. about eating. we went to breakfast were not disappointed. my meal was a full English with home made beans, my wife had the wild mushrooms on toast. both were delicious with local ingredients. the best? they open at 9.30 a.m. on Sunday morning! can not recommend enough if they feel adventurous, try the house made naan brot with spicy sausage!

in this week two visits made in the beautiful factory kitchen. first to brunch after our high time in the ilkeston town hall. the sawed welsh rarebit was excellent and the breakfast made with to house drill perfectly. the following evening we visited for some fine restaurants that was raised. beautiful owners, incredible chef, professional and friendly staff in a welcoming environment. can not wait to make another visit of newcastle. Five stars.
