"Sunday lunch with a French menu that the staff could not translate. Great setting, awful service and food. Food serviced cold, then reheated. £75 Champagne served in a dripping wet wine glass!"

Girls reunion on the Terrace at The Falcon , it was all superb,Having been the week before ,I re booked for the following week and was so pleased that I had .The greeting on arrival was a very warm welcoming and Danielle made me feel so special, Adam , Robert and Davide are so incredibly attentive. Friendly staff and yet still remain professional, entices me to return again and again. The ambiance , well I should say has a great vibe to the place.Champagne was served , the food was very tasty.

We had pre-booked tables but they were already occupied, the service was terrible, the coffee was lukewarm, and our cake arrived after we had finished our coffee. The restaurant manager was unfriendly and dismissive, tables were dirty, and there were crumbs under the chairs. The decor was beautiful and fancy, but the service was lacking. One positive note was that a young waiter named Tom was exceptional. Overall, the restaurant needs to focus on getting the basics right promptly.

Dropped in for sunday lunch the hotel was a bit up market for me but pleasant surroundings, we sat out in the garden area on a beautiful sunny day but when the food was brought out we were quickly disappointed, my friend (who is a chef) said things were not right with the food but we tucked in, paid the bill and left. Not long after I had to make a dash for home with crippling stomach spasms and explosive bowl movements and my friend wasn't much better.Won't be going there again.

A long while ago the Falcon used to be the place to eat. It used to be the place for American tourists people who, at home, are finickity and fussy about everything, who consider themselves epicurean and cultured.
