"We decided to stop by spontaneously and ordered the Sunday roast. It was presented beautifully, the portion size was just right, and it was served piping hot. The server, although young, was attentive and polite, catering to our needs. We were surprised by other negative reviews as our experience was quite positive."

Horrible experience at The Falcon on Saturday, June 10th. Despite a sign outside claiming to be open all day for food, we were turned away when we arrived at 2:30pm. Despite calling ahead and being told they were serving food all day and that no reservation was needed, we were told they couldn't accommodate us. The staff seemed untrained on how to handle phone inquiries and upset customers. The kitchen was closed between 2:30pm and 6pm, which was not mentioned when we called. We will never return to The Falcon and will be sure to share our disappointing experience with others.

We booked last minute for Sunday lunch and arrived 30 minutes later . We were shown to our table and the service we received was quick and friendly. The food was cooked beautifully and the home made Yorkshire puddings were amazing. I think some of the young staff are still quite new and feeling their way in the role . The manager was openly supportive with them , which was nice to see. Considering they are obviously building on staff relationships they handled themselves so well . We’re looking forward to returning this week and giving our support to The Falcon

The Falcon was one of our favourite places to go to for a lovely afternoon or evening out. Situated on the banks of the Great River Ouse, one can sit outside under beautiful shady trees on green lawns and have a lovely meal, snacks drinks. Dogs were welcome too. Only drawback is there is no playground for kiddies, but our grandchild enjoyed running around on the grass and kept herself occupied.

Driven past lots of time sp on the way home from Bedford we thought we would chance it. Booked on our way and lots of availability on Sunday lunch time. Food was AMAZING, really delicious and home cooked, could not fault the beef which was beautifully cooked. Took our two kids (5 and 3) who were very welcome and enjoyed the experience. Will definitely be back!!
