Visited the recently for daughters birthday meal . I chose the king George for location park at back and affordability, as we were a large group and had young children wish us. We were all impressed from start to finish. Service was excellent , all the staff were very helpful, attentive and very friendly . Some of the party arrived quite late but we weren’t made to feel rushed at all .We had the carvery and Chinese buffet 9.99 adults 6.99 children . Couldn’t fault the food , excellent value for money , real Yorkshire puds on carvery , tasty Chinese selection and delicious desserts . There were 17 of us and everyone enjoyed their meal, couldn’t fault it .Thanks again for a lovely evening .
There has been a change in the menu recently and it’s a definite improvement. I always enjoy the food here. Good portion size just right. We had the sharing platter fajitas which was sizzling hot meat peppers onion in spices with hot wraps and salad and sauces. Lovely. You get two wraps each but they were big so one was enough for me. Ordered chips in case it wasn’t enough but didn’t need to. Took the second one home with me for supper. Very reasonably priced good food.
Came here tonight with a friend he had fish and chips and I had Gammon chips and egg. Tge server asked how many eggs one of two and I replied one. When the meal came it was fresh home made Chips like when I was a child. Very good fried chips. The food was good.
Went here on Saturday night after being out for my birthday. It’s close to where I live always friendly and a local pub. They have a good selection of beer and spirits and food has been good. Not tried the new menu yet though.

I have eaten here many times and the food is always freshly cooked and good value and tasty. No complaints at all. They have got a new menu now which looks like even more choice. Superb pub food
We arrived at half seven expecting a Chinese and English buffet but there wasn’t much food left so we decided not to eat here. Also there was only Chinese buffet.
Just called in for a snack while my car was being fixed at a nearby garage. Food was superb and very competitively priced. Highly recommended
First time there and it was great the food was good and the owners were very friendly and helpful and clean well done will be back
