Four of us dined at The Farm Inn on Friday evening booking an outside table. The service and atmosphere was brilliant. I am a local and have visited many times over the years. On this occasion the food was good in general however the portion/pricing on the pea courgette fritters is nonsensical! It costs £15.95 as a main or £8.95 as a starter. For our starters since we were pretty hungry, we ordered it as a main alongside a main portion of the aubergine and tofu bao buns and the poke bowl. When the food arrived we were perplexed. Overall I can say that my service at the farm was nothing short of horrendous. Couldn’t recommend this any less. Firstly, the hygiene is appalling- saw chefs holding cigarette packets while making pizzas and displayed no signs of washing hands. after giving this the benefit of the doubt we ordered our food with a woman manager called Rachel. After withholding an impatient manner as we briefly discussed our order, she had a disguising attitude, no manners and overall she was not suitable for the hospitality industry. After we were hurried to place our order, this manager barked at some of the younger waitresses (no older than 18! and spoke in an aggressive tone. This lead to evident distress...
I had a wonderful experience on Saturday celebrating a special occasion with family and friends at this restaurant. The staff did an outstanding job organizing the buffet, which was excellent. We were seated in the side bar, which had access to the outdoors for the kids to play and was conveniently located near the bar and toilets. There was also a new marquee that looked lovely, although we were unsure about the unpredictable UK weather. We enjoyed a variety of hot dishes and the amazing pizzas, especially the gluten-free options which were top-notch. I did not mention my disappointment to the server because she did not come back to check if everything was okay after serving our food. In hindsight, it seemed like they were short-staffed and everyone was in a bad mood that evening. Our previous visit here had been excellent, but this time we were let down. Unfortunately, I have to lower my rating. The vegetables were overcooked and old, hidden under the fish in the photo. The veggie burger fell apart as soon as I picked it up to eat it, so I had to use a spoon. The kitchen definitely served below standard food this time. Despite the issues, we ate our meal and paid, but we will not be returning anytime soon, if ever.

Popped in for a midweek meal and as the weather was nice decided to sit on their new decking area. Service was swift and very friendly, and the food fantastic. Their new decking area is a great addition for summer time, and the new marquee which was all set up looks amazing too. They even had a water station set up, perfect for a hot day! Will definitely return.
Finding a delicious gluten-free pizza can be challenging, but The Farm has managed to do it successfully. Although their gluten-free pizzas may not be as delicious as their regular ones, they are still delicious. It's disappointing that they no longer offer the buy one pizza, get the second half price deal, but we will definitely continue to dine there.
We have been coming here since it opened and this was the best food I’ve ever had here. It’s always good but we both felt this was a notch up. I recommend the Poke bowl which was so delicious. It was a big portion as starter. Mains excellent. I had cod tempura from the specials menu. Staff all lovely as ever.
Good sized pub with an old farmhouse and modern building for indoor seating and substantial outdoor options. Menu mix from excellent pizzas and familiar favourites to daily specials. A good number of staff on duty with all of them clearly working hard throughout the evening delivering quick friendly service

We had a fabulous meal last night. We shared the nachos with pulled pork, chicken wings with hot sauce and the croquettes. I chose the grilled cod which was delicious. Everything perfect but the wine by the glass needs to be chilled.
