I really appreciate the work that Farm Shrine does. They host an annual open house event where visitors can meet the staff, interact with the animals, and learn about their difficult background histories. During the open house, there are stalls offering various items to raise money for the sanctuary. I do wish they would be more selective about the vendors they allow at the event. It was disappointing to see stalls representing organizations like CIWF and Angelanzug, as well as competitions with meat dishes as prizes. It would be great if they partnered with a vegan organization to provide the food for such competitions, giving carnivorous winners the chance to experience the delicious world...
