As someone who purchases and supports the Veritas Winery, I found our visit for dinner disappointing. The promised Veritas sparkling wine when we arrived was actually a wine from Barcelona. The first course of lentil soup was good, but the second and third courses of short rib and then duck were like having two entrees. Not a vegetable in sight during the entire meal. The dessert was rather amorphous. The wines paired with the meal were good but we learned nothing about them but their names--no description, no reason why they were paired with the food being served. One of the best dining experiences we have ever had. From beginning to end everything was superb. The staff is very friendly keeping it professional yet cozy. They greet you warmly making you feel welcomed immediately. Then they start your dining experience with a glass of bubbles. They guide you to your table, which has been set beautifully, with the menu card displaying your name on it. Then the courses start coming in, each one paired with the right wine. After I had heard great things about the building, I decided to give him a swirl. a bit confused by the price and the advance payment. but it was worth every single penny! they are greeted by amazing workers and provided with a drink as soon as they foot in the door. before dinner they can go over the historic house designed to perfection. every cure of the meal was kreatiw and elegant.
