always try to visit the ferry house when we stay at our son who lives in the village. had a booking for Saturday midday and had to change the timing due to a previous engagement. the personal was helpful as well as before when booking and at the arrival. the menu is wide and varied as the drinks and the service is first class. beautiful selection of baguettes with large chips and these were excellent value. options for children were good and they both enjoyed the chicken bugs. we will definitely return at our next visit in the village.
wing an fwrry house to have our first Christmas meal of the year. the menu wad really appealing and great to start again on the menu. everything we had was very good, but I must say that the Christmas pudding was excellent and one of the best I ever tasted. thank you. john to get up to 6 o'clock to cook the truthahn. a beautiful evening was from all of us. nice pub to have a Christmas dinner with log-fire to keep them all warm and cozy. book on to avoid disappointment.
We enjoyed this restaurant so much that we went twice in one weekend! We had a delicious steak on Friday night and returned for breakfast on Sunday morning. Both meals were fantastic, and we echo what other reviewers have said - the staff are very welcoming and friendly. Our 5-year-old son also had a great time. The restaurant is in a beautiful location with scenic views. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a fantastic birthday weekend!
