The pub itself is cosy and nicely decorated. Yet the Menu mainly fried options) and food left a lot to be desired. We ordered three prawn cocktails for starters, only to be told a few minutes later that there weren 't any prawns. We then waited over 40 minutes for our mains to arrive. The 'warm ' Indian lamb burger was topped with one very soggy lettuce leaf and a 'partial ' piece of tomato. The two onion Bhajis looked like they had come from a packet you can buy in a supermarket. The Coleslaw was warm. The other two dishes consisted of a bowl containing 'dirty fries ' with chopped up southern fried pieces of chicken, the odd bit of bacon, topped with a soggy sauce.
