Made plans to come here for lunch after a morning visit to Camera Obscura which is just a little way up the mile. Been here before years ago loved it…love it still! Great ambience, fantastic service and amazing food all hot, fresh and tasty. Large portions too! I can definitely recommend the haggis bites they’re delicious. Shout out to our sever Sophie who was lovely; welcoming, friendly efficient. Love this place will return.
Early lunch on Royal Mile. Called in for a lunch having missed breakfast. Service was good, restaurant has a motor sport feel about it with racing memorabilia adorning the walls. Pleasant seating areas for small and larger parties. Music not too loud and varied. All in all a pleasant experience. Food was tasty and for location reasonably priced. We had The Pit Stop butger and Smoked Brisket burger. Would definitely recommend.
Popped in here for dinner. We advised Alan our waiter that we needed a quick meal due to having a fringe performance to get to. Service was extremely quick. Food was delicious. One diner had gluten free menu but that didn’t slow this place down. Impressive considering fringe is on and it’s a big old place. Good value and happy to recommend.
My experience with this place was really memorable. Our waiter was so so friendly, he tried to guess where we were from and we had a few jokes with him. I also really liked how the interior was decorated and the food was delicious! I definitely recommend trying out this place Book a table now
Fantastic restaurant. Our first time here in Edinburgh, found this restaurant by chance. Great food , service and a friendly helpful staff...special shout out to Sophie who was brilliant! Veggie and gluten free friendly and the food was very tasty!
Just seem to be a restaurant now, shame as used to be a good pub too. Stood at an almost empty bar for 5 or 6 minutes, 2 staff behind bar, no one acknowledge so we left. Only another 2 people sitting inside with drinks.
Loved the food here. My husband had the pepperoni pizza and it was generously topped. I had the vegan burger which was delicious. Reasonably priced too. Would definitely recommend.
