The Fishery Inn - Table reservation

We arrived to say our booking by fork was not registered and they had no knowledge of it. We shared email confirmation etc. and they went out of their way to accommodate us, but we are advised that they were a limited menu that was not meant appetizers, only Sunday roasts, we are hungry for the frying, the service staff were good, but the food was disappointing, hard frying potatoes, dry chicken and over boiled veg, shameful as we did.

The place is beautiful. It's just a shame that the food and the staff don't live in the restaurant. Both fish dishes (Sea Bass and salmon) were cooked and dry. The pig belly had very little meat on it. The waiter fell beer on my partner and spils water over the table. He also leaned over all of us to clarify rather than walk around us. Very disappointing.

Service slowly. had to ask for drinks, then we waited and waited, in the end we had to ask where our drinks were when the drinks were finally delivered, we asked to place our food orders. They weren't busy even though they were served outside. We were very disappointed with our visit this time. We used to be when we got messages not to be too late?

Unfortunately the fish finger in ciabatta was tasteless the worst meal I have had at the Fishery and I have been a regular for many years. Two of us had the fish and were both disappointed. Additionally your menu is rather samey not as many varieties as in previous menus.

My family and I had a most enjoyable time at the Inn. The food was excellent, with the staff attending to our needs. More than happy to come again and taste a different menu.
