Very nice restaurant. Party of 12 for lunch so we preordered from the set menu on £35 per head. All options have been delivered correctly and in good time, cannot complain! The food was very well presented and prepared (can the chicken in the highest was a bit overcooked or sat a little, but no biggie). Good selection of wines, beer and soft drinks. Well done to finish coffee. Excellent attentive service staff and we really appreciate the bowl of chips! Thank you for making our family food a great one.

After 2 years we could finally return to this beautiful pub restaurant. Their service and food are still on the high standard as before. Above all, there is a new staff that just started working yesterday and I want to give 5 stars for its hospitality. I hope I'd see him again at the next visit. Today's special fish was amazingly delicious and fresh. Thanks also for the New Year's Discount. I appreciate it. Very recommended for all occasions also with dog.

My favorite audience in Oxford. Very special pub, since this is where my husband proposed me on the bridge over the river on the bottom of this beautiful pubs garden. It is a very romantic environment. There is a teapee in the garden for renting or sitting if not booked. The food is very good, a little expensive. The staff was friendly and very helpful. You have a dedicated gluten-free menu that is great. Very recommended.

Fabulous hidden gem of a pub in a small village. In the evening we could not get the chance to see the amazing (and huge) garden in all its glory, but surely will come back during the day! Service was fantastic and attentive, food delicious and plentiful. The price is a notch higher than most gastropubs, but it is worth it.
