Made welcome straight away even though we were the only ones in. Very helpful in explaining what was what on the menu. I had a Sunday roast dinner and they even made me glutenfree Yorkshire puddings to go with the gravey. My better half had same but she required everything Lactose free. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed it and would recomend it to everyone and not too pricey in fact cheap enough to allow us to have a nice drink from a wide variety of choice. Highy Recomended By Us 5
Food was overpriced and not great quality. I had the Sunday roast and ended up leaving the beef as it was off and tasted stale. I was offered another cut but turned that down, no offer of a refund. Drinks were OK as was the service, having said that the place was practically empty at lunchtime. When I read some of the glowing reviews for The Flappit I was expecting much better, I would avoid this place as there are better options available.
A person in our group ordered the flat iron steak meal, when it arrived it didn't come with the mushrooms, fried tomato and onion rings. Probably should have complained... But still quite an oversight for 12.95!! The pie was nice, mash a bit lumpy for my liking, but Gravy was ok. Probably won't go back to be honest.
When for Sunday lunch. Had to wait an hour and there were two people besides my family in pub! The meal wasn't even warm when we did eventually receive it. We came when restrictions were on for a drink and sat outside which was nice but not for a meal. Book a table now
We waited 1hr 20mins for food...when it arrived half of what was written on the menu was missing from the plate and it was cold. We politely refused to accept it and paid for drinks and left. Very disappointed to say the least.
Absolutely no atmosphere because we were the only people there. Food over priced and small portions. It's not right to have to take a child somewhere else straight after to get them more food because their still hungry.
Really nice staff. Even let me know you could have tasters, when I was trying to decide what cider to have, which I didn't know was a thing . Very nice, modern clean pub.
