The best fish and chip shop I have visited. The food is always perfect and the staff couldn't do more to be accommodating. It is always very busy which shows how good it is. I have never had a problem with the food it is always presented perfectly fresh and hot. The staff work so hard dealing with uber orders telephone orders as well as people in the shop. Very well organised keeping everybody safe is their pandemic. The shop is extremely clean and staff are always disinfecting surfaces and hands which I haven't seen in many other takeaway outlets. They have daily specials along with kebabs, burger, fish and chips and they also cater for vegetarians. Something for everyone!!
The Boss lady here serves the best kebabs ever, plenty of meat and salad always. sadly i called in last Saturday lunch time and a thin blonde girl with a stunted pony tail served me to a chicken kebab? i plainly asked for it on a pitta bread and proceeded to the pay point? when i got home to Dawley Bank surprise surprise? it was in a polystyrene tray with very stingy portions of meat and salad and looked a right mess, very poor for £6? she needs to listen to the customer properly instead of gassing to the others behind the counter.
I have used this chip shop many times had some at times HAD SOME BAD SOME GOOD FOOD but never complained today will I go there again never.Gave order paid went home no chips grandkids back in car. Was given 1 receipt then another said chips will be this amount £2.50 I said I ordered it why not in. Said also should of brought other food back to re do order was told our fault but yours to re seeing to granddaugter. Never use again nor friend family as service is terrible.
This used to be a fantastic chip shop. The food was beautiful, but the last 2 visits have ended up in the bin. I understand prices have hiked up every where but atleast make the food edible. I had ordered over £25. And unfortunately, everything was floating in grease. It's not drained enough. I am very disappointed as this chip shop used to be amazing. Unfortunately, we won't be going back in a hurry. Book a table now
I was passing by the chippy , to look at a job at a property around 2pm , u know the smell of fish chips tempt u ,specially when one’s hungry Thought we’d try some food , so a couple of friends joined me The staff was very polite and friendly ,welcoming We sat and had fish chips at the table , Great service tasty food would definitely go again Well worth it Thank you staff
I’ve been a few times and the staff are lovely. But the owner is a proper fruit and nut. Yesterday I had an altercation with her. In the end , I left without my order and money and told her to stick it were the sun don’t shine. It was the best 7 pounds I ever spent. Donna Hill
Now use this place at least once every week,the kebabs are excellent always very fresh salad items, and so are all their other offering,lovely large fish and good portion of chips, and we love the scallops here very nice batter.
I visit on an adhoc basis but every time greeted with the warmest of welcomes and remembered ! Staff go out of their way to look after my picky needs and always do it with a smile! most times they tell me my order Book a table now
Absolutely amazing, the team behind the counter were great, couldn’t fault them one bit, they are long time owners of this chip shop and I’m still coming back here 30 years later.
