We went into The Foresters as we were in the area and it looked like a nice place for a drink. When we went in, we were greeted happily by a lovely young lady and as they weren't busy she asked where would we like to sit. We sat by the fireplace in these lovely huge chairs to have drinks. We decided to stay for dinner; the waitress asked if we would like dinner where we were or move to the restaurant, we moved into the restaurant area. We ordered some bread to start with and I was very pleasantly surprised to have warm bread come out as it was freshly baked there and then. Amazing, I hope they stick with this. I had the fish and chips and my partner had steak. The food was hot , well cooked...
Had a delicious lunch here. Service fantastic and food just delicious. Sadly the impact of covid meant the restaurant wasn’t as full as it should be so we will be returning soon to support an independent local business and hope others do too. Great menu with many options. Everything we ate was outstanding. Only suggestion is for a vegan option to be included.
I had dinner here on New Year's Eve, and it was fantastic! The food was amazing, and the service was top-notch. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place!
