I reunited with some old colleagues here whom I hadn't seen in 40 years. It's a nice pub for catching up and chatting, with a quiet atmosphere and good service. The food was decent, but the beer selection was somewhat limited—perhaps due to Covid, Brexit, or HGV driver shortages; take your pick.
This traditional little pub has an older clientele and is somewhat hidden in a shopping center. However, the staff were fantastic and made a real effort to engage with my daughter, which she loved. The food was delicious, well-presented, and offered great value for money.
I have been coming here for years and always feel welcomed like family. The live performances are definitely worth visiting. The staff is fantastic, and it's wonderful to support a local business with such friendly people.
