Loved this place! Beautifuly updated historic old building with a very spacious interior with the greatest high ceilings. Friendly downtown vibe. Great cocktail menu. We were there at happy hour and I'd say that was the only downfall, weweren't told what the specials were when we ordered from regular offerings. Would have been nice to know our options. Good wasgreat! Staff was great! All around good option for downtown eating. Parking close by too.
Totally a fun environment. Loved the decor. I cannot have any type of gluten and no cross contamination of gluten- Celiac. My waitress was great. I got the watermelon salad and I wanted it with chicken. Alas my waitress found out that the chicken is marinated in soy. I got the salmon instead and it was delicious. I didn’t get sick! Thank you, staff!!! Cocktails were delicious too.Dietary restrictions: Celiac.
Nicely curated restaurant with a good vibe and nice bar scene. However, the food and service is much to be desired. The paella is a bland mix of watery orzo with little to no use of saffron or seasoning. The salad was served with yellowing greens. Thehamachi was a winner as was the grilled octopus. Service was with a smile, just not on par with expectations.
I love this place! I just had my bridal shower here and the food was amazing and the service was even better. Stasi worked with me and was able to customize the menu just how I wanted. As a bride who wanted to minimize any additional stress and at the same time have a beautiful shower I couldn’t have picked a better place! Highly recommend! Book a table now
A very nice place to have diner. Great choice of meals. Warm and friendly service. Food was very good and tasty. The menu is around modern Mediterranean flavors. We enjoy our diner here although it was a bit loud and crowed at this moment. Specialmention for the dessert that was delicious.
We enjoyed the outside sitting area, atmosphere was nice. I can’t say the same thing for the food, shawarma and hummus were mediocre. Matter of fact, it wasn’t even shawarma, it was something like a taco with a pita bread. I recommend cocktails and oysters.
Hands down one of the best restaurants in Downers Grove. The cauliflower appetizer was amazing. The Paella main course is unmatched. The espresso martini is perfection. Alberto makes a mean latte! It’s an amazing place. A must try.
We loved our dinner here on a Sunday night. Our dog loved the outdoor area with artificial turf. The food and service are the real stars. Highly recommend. Book a table now
