We began our morning at Snooze, but it was so crowded and noisy that we decided to leave. Next, we tried Annie’s, only to find it closed since it was Monday. Then we arrived at The French Press—and what a wonderful surprise! The atmosphere was peaceful, roomy, and cozy. The menu offered a variety of creative dishes, and the staff was friendly and relaxed, a perfect blend of youthful energy and genuine warmth. The food was exceptional, clearly made with great care rather than rushed through some industrial-style process. The French Press is now my favorite spot for breakfast.
They forgot my coffee. Then when my food came out, it was just my meal and they didn?t bring out my boyfriends.We waited 35 minutes for his food to come out and it never came. We finally asked someone where his food was and they said ?Sorry, we?ll goahead and get it started now.? That?s all they offered. Frustrated the service and that fact that I have to tip upfront beforewe even get seated. Update: we finally got his food and it was missing an egg when it was supposed to come with 2 and thebiscuits are burnt :
This is a fabulous place for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. The menu on the giant chalkboard can be a bit overwhelming; know that the toppings for omelets are right in the middle. The French toast is good too. You order at the cafe counter, and then theydeliver to your table. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly the food came. However, I would say skip the crepe, it was abit dry.
I absolutely love this place! The staff are wonderful, the food is fantastic, and the location is perfect. I enjoyed the chicken fried steak with a delicious gravy sauce, while my husband had a cappuccino, French toast, eggs, and Canadian bacon. Everything was amazing. We finished every bite because it was just that good!

Walked in for a quick bite and thoroughly enjoyed the food. Service was kind and direct and the food was delicious. I ordered 'The Bennie ', which seems to be a highly ordered dish, and a latte. Just under $20, the quality really blew me away for thatprice point. Great job and will be back with friends next time.

We enjoyed the eggs Benedict, chorizo biscuits with gravy, and shrimp and grits. Each dish was flavorful and delicious, with generous portions at a great price. The coffee was freshly brewed and excellent.

The Buffalo chicken sandwich is outrageously delicious...and I'm not normally a fan of Buffalo sauce!! Blew me away and I can't wait to try more on the menu ????
