I love this venue. We go there specifically for gluten and lactose free fish chips. This includes gluten-free sauces, gluten-free fried chicken, and even gluten-free chicken kebab. They also do normal fish chips menu for the general public, which is their main menu. The owner is lovely, he is usually there cooking a lot and the staff are great. A very chatty and friendly bunch, smiling and very helpful. We live in Birmingham, but not many gluten and lactose free, friendly options close to me. This was the first time ordering from the Frying Machine and we were not disappointed. Not only was this all gluten free (I'm coeliac), but it was well packaged and clearly labelled. The chips were amazing but the best thing was the curry sauce, I've never tasted any chip shop curry sauce like it really really good and gluten free! We've been looking for a gluten free chip shop for ages and to have this one that does GF every day and it being some of the best chips I've tasted in a while is a blessing...and they deliver!
