I got an email from this company with a Christmas offer of two large fish suppers and side for £12, but when I went in to order i was told by the girl at the till that she had just found out about this offer and that the boss hadn't told her about it. I was told the till wasn't set up for this promotion and that they couldn't honor the promotional email I had been sent. This is a total con job just to get customers in, never again, everytime I go here there's some issue. I would not recommend very dishonest company
The branch 'seems to be ' under new management. On my last visit 3 gentlemen were on duty, whereas for a long time there has been an all-female staff. The chip portions are thankfully back to normal. There are several meal-deals on display at varying prices. What this branch has really needed for some time , is a large, itemised menu price list on display. Otherwise, keep up the good work chaps !
Seems there hasn’t been review in a while. Can’t say anything bad lovely fish not greasy chips great gougons were thick strips of chicken very tender sausage supper fish suppers and chicken fillet burger was what we ordered and it was grand! At the end of the day it’s a chippy not Gordon Ramsay’s!!!
Every time I visit The Frying Squad in Balloo, I am always impressed by the exceptional service I receive. The staff greets you with a warm smile every time. The food is of top-notch quality, with generous portions. My favorite are the lunchtime deals, as you get a lot of food for a great price.

Takeaway for 6 we had battered sausage and pastie suppers as well as pastie baps. Battered on sausages nice and crisp and chips tasted good too. Pastie baps also get a thumbs up from someone who's eaten a few pasties in his day.
This restaurant offers the best fish and chips in the country at a great price. The portion size is generous and it's hard to see how anyone could find fault with it, unless you're Steven Nolen.
I paid £6.20 for a Sausage Supper that was just average in size. It used to be £5.20, which was more reasonable. Now it's the most expensive option in town. I would not recommend it.
I am sorry to say but our fish and chips we didn't enjoy .I love chunky chips but got so many wee ends and the better of the fish was so soggy . would not go back .

Very disappointed ! Cod supper not Worth £7 25 ! Hardly any chips !placed order over the phone 20 min ! When picked up in fifteen min is wasn't hot at all !
