We called in for a cup of tea and a sandwich as have passed this place multiple times. They had stopped serving food which wasn’t an issue we ordered a cappuccino and an early grey tea we were told no early grey again not an issue ! What was an issue was the rude manner that the lady behind the till spoke to us! She told us it was £2:99 for the tea and my husband said does that include the cappuccino to which she replied rudely you didn’t order that! I said we did and she then retorted you did not I wasn’t here when you asked for that ! Words fail me she had been stood there the whole time we had the no food being served no earl grey saga ! Lovely cafe with pretty views of the boats on the canal. Dog friendly and water bowls provided. Plenty of outdoor seating. Only ordered coffees so can't comment on the food but the coffees were lovely. Lady who served us was pleasant and polite. Entrance is wheelchair friendly and there's plenty of room for a wheelchair inside. Free car park with some disabled spaces. Toilets were lovely and clean and well equipped.
Excellent service and food. Quick service. Spotless loos and showers. Pleasant setting. But: needs a couple of EXIT signposts from the main car park (see photographs). You look right and see an arrow, painted on the roadway, pointing at you. So you turn left into the boatyard. Confused, you eventually work out that it is a double-headed arrow!! A very nice place, spotlessly clean, very friendly staff. We only stopped by for coffee and breakfast but found the breakfast menu very limited. Apparently the menu may be growing mate in the year. But we would go back.

Excellent setting, fantastic staff nothing too much trouble. Food freshly made. Nice idea that they have a loyalty card. Definitely returning...have to share but hope this doesn't mean we can't get a table next time.
Absolutely fantastic excellent service from the young lady’s chicken and bacon salad was delicious soup and cheese and ham panini just fantastic coffee and cake beautiful view priceless

All I can say is food good but greatly overpriced. Nice setting, friendly staff, undercover if you need it. Inside seating if it's cold.
