We waited for over an hour for our first course: very over-cooked duck with vegetables which were not fresh. We couldn 't eat it. We didn 't think we would risk a pudding, so after coffee, we left. The duty manager did make a small deduction from the bill, but it did not compensate for the disappointment. There was also zero 'atmosphere '; it was like sitting in the hush of a church. One good thing was the restaurant manager (a lovely Polish lady) who was deeply apologetic, but obviously didn 't have the authority to do anything about it.
