Glad there appears to be a place in CH that has a nice range of options on the menu to appeal to all. Look forward to trying more dishes. Had the buffalo shrimp with blue cheese and bacon. It had more kick to it than I usually tolerate, so the ranch dressing was helpful to cool it. Hubby enjoyed the seared tuna dish—was a nice flavor, good quality and presentation. Decent things to say about the food, and the service was adequate—-not sure how it would be if it were more packed. It was a stormy Saturday, so maybe it kept a few folks away than normal so it was a good time to check it out. I came to The George for drinks and apps with a few friends the other night. We sat in the bar area which had a great vibe and fun music playing. The cocktails and appetizers were tasty and our waitress was very friendly and attentive! It is so nice to have a fun restaurant/bar with a good crowd in the burbs! I will definitely be back!
We really enjoyed the variety in the menu and service was excellent! The food was also great! So happy Clarendon Hills has a restaurant like this now. Can’t wait to try their weekend brunch this weekend.
