I feel that I am quite biased when it comes to the george: it is my native. I have spent birthdays, holy evenings and many Friday evenings in the george and it is close to my heart. during my London visit, some of my Londonites have taken me for a few drinks. it rained outside and we could somehow get there at 8:30 a.m. and were amazed to find the place almost full. fortunately we found a place near the bar at a high table and chair and ordered few j20 juices, smirnoff white and wkd. the ambiente and the decoration of the place were a very interesting, with hip hop playing and people hanging with their friends. the first floor was more for the people who prefer to eat and drink. it was very well conceptualized and they had made an appropriate use of the place. her menu was one of the most crazy menus that had all the fusions of alcohol on her, so many sorts of beer, coc...
friendly staff, super busy down, up is much quieter and more beautiful. the only part from above is that they close the bar early, which means that everyone has to crash down, which ruins the night something. eating is also very nice. the beverage menu must be more diverse and must introduce a cocktail menu, as this would stimulate customers and sales. the furniture is comfortable, but the chairs have to be re-padded, as they become a bit threadable at places. good value for money.
