we had to book our reservations well in advance to guarantee a table. the workers are very attentive, they naturally enjoy their work, as they were so knowledgeable about every cure of our food. the recommended weeps were perfect for our eating. we were a party of six foods, including personal chef ex restauranteurs so can be very critical to time, our visit to the george was great and is highly recommended.
My wife and I booked a table as a celebration for exam results. This charming and accomplished restaurant excelled on every level and all eight courses! The wine accompaniment was exceptional, as were the knowledgeable and attentive front of house staff. Highly recommended eatery in the Peak District.
eating was amaing, I'd say I played 1 michael. we came last year and this year was better than last. the beginning of the day was my favorite, although it was hard to choose
