The Golden Fillet is our first choice for fish and chips when we go to the beach at Holland on Sea. When we went there recently they had a limited menu due to the refurbishment works but they couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating and even offered to cook some vegetarian food that we provided! If only we lived closer ... Full marks to the Golden Fillet!
We were down by the beach and fancied some chips, this was a short walk away. Had a little wait as they cooked food fresh. Food was very nice, highly recommend. Both the fish and chips were cooked really well. Also had a pot of curry sauce which was very tasty! Space out front to park if driving.
Very nice chips and very reasonable price. Will come again. Closest chip shop if you're down at Holland-on-sea beach. probably a 2 minute drive. Lots of space to park and you'll be back at the beach with your fish and chips in no time.
the best fish and chips in north essex great in the restaurant to eat or take away, good value and very well cooked eating we recommend them to try it, they will not be disappointed.
