A good friend recommended this restaurant to us, and we finally had the chance to try it out. I observed them preparing fresh, hand-patted hamburgers right before our eyes. We ordered the burger topped with colossal shrimp, which were indeed impressive, along with onions, onion rings, lettuce, tomatoes, cheddar cheese, and Old Bay seasoning. The food was incredible! The shrimp was perfectly cooked, which I really appreciated.
The Governor's Place is an exceptional dining spot. As a veteran-owned establishment, it offers delicious food, a friendly and attentive staff, and a fantastic chef. They create a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The chef even comes out to meet guests and ensure everything is to their liking. You won’t find many places like this that genuinely prioritize their customers.
This is a fantastic restaurant tucked away in Pembroke, NC. It can be a bit tricky to locate if you're not familiar with the area, as it's situated inside Native Angels. The menu offers a wide variety of choices, primarily featuring brisket and burgers. Interestingly, you can enter through a back door that's linked to the restaurant instead of going through the main building.
2nd time here and had the executive burger with a side salad. Omg!!! Amazing, and the sweet tea is the best (I need a gallon) love the vibe here. The ladies working was very pleasant and love the conversation. Book a table now
