I'm genuinely impressed by the Grand Rapids Fishery! Big kudos to Cody and Jared!The place is super clean. The staff is so friendly and nice. The fish is fresh and not over battered, greasy, or overly-seasoned, which is hard to come by with fish fry. I had the orange roughy, but excited to come back to try the red shrimp. (Surprised it is on the menu, since its not on most menus Oh, and for someone who hates tartar sauce, I learned to love their homemade tartar sauce.Been around for 40 years... come by to supp...
I used to live in Wyoming and now live in Chicago suburb. I loved this restaurant when I lived there! It is so awesome that your restaurant is still in business. I lived down the street in Ramblewood Apartments. We would go there every week. Eric, I think, used to be the owner. The food was, and obviously still is, delicious. I wish we had a small seafood restaurant just as great here. It's too expensive and time consuming to go in to Chicago. BTW..I left Wyoming over 20 years ago. CONGRATULATIONS on your long and excellent tenure!
We first came here about 25 years ago, and the food was excellent! 13 years ago, we moved out of state and recently moved back. The Fishery was one of our first stops. We are thrilled to report that the food is still excellent and the service is exceptional, everything we’ve tried has always been delicious. Never dry or over cooked and lots of choices! Orange roughy and onion rings are highly recommended! Service: Take out
salty. overfried. ausgeschrien. our first visit and enthusiastic to find this fishfield. reviews led us to expect excellent eating. what we received was very dry, overcooked small nuggets of inconspicuous things. and salty we had the same experience (1 times, salty, overgrown...etc)... and we left a tip before we came home and tried to eat. very unimpressed. most of them thrown away....sad!

We're out-of-towners from Indy and this place DID NOT DISAPPOINT! This joint had well-battered shrimp, fresh lake perch, and really juicy orange roughy! The spicy tarter sauce is ? and so was the cocktail sauce. Would definitely recommend ???
Five. stars eating is really good when smelt fries has really spiced. remodeled the load more open in sitting or sitting outside when it is beautiful. the front opened more room looks great out kudos nick crew. better management now!
