Overall, a solid experience. They specialize in baby back ribs, which happen to be my favorite. The ribs were tasty and reasonably priced. However, I wasn't a fan of the house sauce, so next time, I'll opt for a different sauce. While it may not have been exceptional BBQ, it was good enough to consider if you're in the area and craving ribs. I didn’t sample any sides, as my focus was solely on the ribs. The staff were friendly, and the restaurant was clean, with ample seating both indoors and outdoors. If you're nearby and in the mood for ribs, it's definitely worth a visit.

Not bad. Tried it for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. I had a pork sandwich and some smoked wings. The pork was fine and the bread was good. I wasn't overly impressed with the sauces. The hot sauce was more heat than taste and the mustard sauce was ok, a little on the sweet side. The wings were quite good. The place is spartan, but that's fine for a BBQ joint. The service was very friendly. I wouldn't put it in the same category as Fox Bros, The Swallow, BBQ1, or Heirloom, but I will go back.
I've mentioned this before, and I will say it again – BBQ is truly an art form. Smoking meat correctly is a rare talent, and it's a challenging skill to master. Many people evaluate BBQ joints based on their sauce, but we prefer to focus on the meat and the sides. For us, the quality of the meat is what reveals a true understanding of BBQ. The sides should enhance the meal and not feel like an afterthought. Greater Good Barbecue stayed true to traditional methods, and we appreciated that commitment.
Pretty Good. Wife and I have eaten there twice. Pulled pork is moist, tasty (a little stringy compared to Community BBQ). Brisket is chopped into little cubes. Tasted good but a little dry. Sides are good. Potato salad A. Slaw (shredded not chopped) A+. Greens B+. Greens (not overcooked, still have a little crunch) B. Five kinds of BBQ sauce; regular, sweet, vinegar, mustard, hot. Greater Good Barbecue is now a regular on our list. Book a table now
The Greater Good Barbecue is located at 4431 Hugh Howell Rd, Tucker, GA 30084, near the eastern end of Tucker, closer to the Mountain Industrial area. This spacious restaurant has previously been home to several different eateries, but I'm pleased to say that it has finally found its niche as a barbecue restaurant. It's not far from the old Handy Hardware location, for those familiar with the area.
Best Pork Plate w/Fries. First timer at THE GREATER GOOD for lunch today. The pulled pork was perfect moist, tender, and I loved the sauce. The fresh cut fries, once they cooled off, were as good as I've ever had. Worth a lot more than the ten buck bill.<br/ <br/ It's a very cool space too. They were setting up for live music acts, and they have dozens of different brews
Great addition to Tucker. I have eaten at Greater Good BBQ twice and loved it both times. Outstanding 'cue and stew. Sides are really good. Fantastic service, friendly staff and Bill and Tracy, the owners, are working hard to put out a great meal. Love the olides music they play also! We finally have some good 'cue in Tucker.
Pretty good. The pork was a little stringy, but flavorful. Fries, slaw, beans were average, and the potato salad was excellent. The sauces were varied and good. Service was exceptional. The live band on Saturday nights is deafening. Don't go Saturday nights if you plan to converse. It can't happen. Book a table now
The pulled pork was really good... not the best I've ever had, a little dry, but I would still go there again. Our server was great. We changed our minds a million times and he was eager to make whatever crazy request we wanted happen.
Yum! Great prices, kind service, and delicious BBQ. My husband and I were very pleased with our casual lunch of pulled pork and mac-n-cheese. Comfortable and casual.

"Overall, the food was decent. However, the clam chowder resembled more of a warm clam broth and lacked any substance."
