We made a reservation for dinner at a popular restaurant and informed them about it when booking. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a man wearing casual jeans and a pullover who seemed uninterested. We were seated at a table in a back room with little ambiance and a limited menu printed on a sheet of paper. Another well-dressed young man attended to us occasionally. While waiting for our food, we overheard someone at the bar answering the phone and informing the caller that the restaurant would only be serving drinks as the chef was on sick leave and the restaurant could not survive the summer. First impressions when driving in are rubbish strewn car park area, could be fenced off from view! Pub garden looked minimalist and sad all a bit off putting. Could easily be fixed! Inside warm and welcoming. Great service and delicious food. The front dining room smallish but cosy for it! We would recommend it to friends, but please sort out the rear of the pub.
This is a nice restaurant and the food was good but we had a table next to the bar. The restaurant is also a public bar and customer occasionally came to the bar which was a little off putting. A sign asking customers to use the adjacent bar would have helped, otherwise
The ambience and the food at the Green Dragon were great, very enjoyable and the service was also very good. The food took a little longer to arrive than we had expected, but when it arrived it was well worth it, really good!

a relaxed atmosphere strengthened our appetizer with my family. service as always was timely and the vegan menu for one in my party was very delicious. especially I enjoyed the venison perfectly cooked. plase on rioja!
Food here was 1st class. Interesting and slightly different. Surprising it was it so empty on a Friday lunchtime. Will definitely eat there again.
