I have been to the Green King many times and have very little bad to say about it. As a vegetarian it is difficult in France to get a veggie meal in a French restaurant but there are several options here. The veggie burger is excellent. One small problem is that for some reason fish dishes are mentioned as vegetarian which they obviously are not. I have never quite understood that.Most times the service is excellent but occasionally the server is pretty bad but having said that I have noticed that when that happens I don't see that server again so maybe they have moved on. Green King is one of the many busy restaurant in Sant Philippe where during the week Sophia Antipolis workers goes to have lunch. I went there couple of time and always I get surprised how awful is the food. Service is ok, but the food is the worst. As example last time I had an chicken burger for 14.50 Euro (so from the price you expect a decent burger): the burger bread was almost cold! Like the remove it from the fridge and did not think to warm it... the chicken was not well cocked and the quality of the meet was really really low... Determined to find the real Côte D'Azur i took the family away from the coastline strip and found some beautiful places but many of these restaurants lacked one element or another .. atmosphere, friendliness, cleanliness, food quality, value for money etc... Nice place and nice staff.. also they look like they have really tasty burgers...however the prices are a bit too expensive for the local. Also smoking is permited int he so called patio.. while in summer the patio might be open and that is fine, in winter it is completely covered and there is very little ventilation making no difference from an inside space.. so if you are there in winter and sitting in the patio be prepared to be smoked :). Great burger restaurant in the heart of Sophia Antipolis. Excellent burgers with meat cooked to taste, fab sauces, good varied menu, and even has real quality vegetarian options. Fast moving, quick, efficient and friendly service. Fish and chips on a Friday now infamous across Sophia! Book ahead to save disappointment. Definitely recommend this restaurant. Absolutely worth visiting...
Very nice place, with a fantastic view on the golf. The staff is very kind and this is definitely a pub where you can have good beers, pub food (I recommend the burgers) and also some "plats du jours" (dish of the day) if you go at lunch time.I've been there many times and there is no reason why I should stop !
Had been there with colleagues and friends for some beer after work. Nice atmosphere with friendly staff. Had some snacks (Onion rings and Mozzarella sticks) which had been very good. So nothing to complain. Next time when I am around I would go again.

Jim and his friendly and efficient team offer some good, simple fare, namely great hamburgers. Try the fish 'n' chips on Fridays!
