The food is outstanding, the view is gorgeous, and the service provided by Loretta made the evening truly special. The fresh seafood, perfectly grilled steaks, and expertly crafted cocktails were only surpassed by the excellent service we received. Loretta was attentive, enthusiastic, and well-informed about the menu and its offerings. Located on a great spot in the Newport marina, The Grill at Forty 1 North is a classy bar and restaurant to chill with friends and loved ones as the sun goes down or to check out the docked superyachts (and maybe say hi to their owners and crew! . Although known more as a hip bar with cool cocktails, the food and service here are excellent too, for both lunch and dinner. It is pricey, but you are paying a 'location tax ' and it 's worth it for a special treat, or to impress! The seafood towers and the squid ink pasta were fantastic and highly recommended.
Terrible service. Sat and asked for a brunch menu, the server wasn?t sure if they had one and said she will ask. Then waited 10 minutes before we reminded her again about it. Finally ordered brunch, no joke the worst French Toast I?ve ever ordered in mylife. Probably would be good for drinks, but plenty of other good places to try where you?re not going to pay 50 dollars for badfood.
Very pricey hotel for not so pricey service and food. We had our anniversary night here which we noted to them and they never told us happy anniversary. We also had the breakfast package but nothing on the menu was under $21. The outlets in the room for phones were no where near the beds. The room was very humid. The bikes were free but a little rickety.
