Excellent food! The gyro I ordered is the best I have had. And it was HUGE! We also ordered the house made hummus. After you eat that, you will never touch the stuff from the grocery store again. The prices are very reasonable. We ordered our food to go because when you walk in, it appears there are only a handful of tables. But when you walk past the kitchen, there is a big room with more tables in the back. We didn't get any baklava this time, so I want to go back and try that. This is definitely on my list of quick go to places for an excellent meal.
I've been working in the St louis area about 2yrs now and this is by far my favorite place to eat. The staff is super friendly and the food is always spectacular. The supreme gyro, fries and drink will set ya back about 12.00 but the portions are well worth the price. The gyro is as big as a small football and a small fry fills the basket. Plenty of seating in the back and parking may be a little tricky but you can always park across the street:
Best gyro in South St. Louis, hands down. If you're looking for nothing short of amazing food for a fair price, I recommend this place. I'd even consider it one of the city's secret gems.
Had the chicken gyro awesome, seasoned well, moist. Fries crunchy outside and soft inside. Baklava some of the best I had. I wanted another piece.
