so beautiful that we're here twice. we stayed in a house on the coast and Hartlands was the next city so we all tried out his joyous. the hard was just the best. the menu was excellent a mix of classic pub duve and local tariff, specialties that were really delightful, and fresh fish. I had the fish plate both painting, because after this first time I could not stop thinking about it. it was also a bit different, the second time so that was good, as it shows that they turn the fish after availability. the main dishes were epic cut, but not so big that they could not fit into a bit of cheesecake afterwards. all agreed that the puddings were absolutely top notch. Unfortunately, we were there t...

we decided to book here, as we were our goal, hard country, was a relatiw small area, with a relatiw large public. we went in and asked ourselves to book, we were met with a smile; a warm welcome and continued to book our meal for the following evening. the menu is not a huge, but the choices are perfect. Homely eating, real hearty shrub! the service was fast and pleasant, the waitress was very jovial and made us welcome. eating was great, my steak was extraordinary. a beautiful place in a very quiet but also busy small village in the northern devon.

we had a delicious Sunday dinner in the rough in the pretty village hardland. the owners and employees were friendly and welcoming. there was a good choice of real ales and more. we are real Ale-Drinkers. eating was amazing. we had the ruby red 8 hours slowly boiled brisket, which came with a good selection of vegetables. that's the best Sunday roast I've eaten. I've been bananing for dessert that I haven't had for years. yummy! we booked a table again in the week. I recommend this beautiful inn.

what a beautiful foundation! we visited the opposite at a weekend trip and I booked the hard inn before we went, so we were very happy to discover what a nice pub it was, how friendly the staff was and how dog friendly too! we had dinners on Sundays, which was a bark and a chicken breast, all well cooked and presented. at the beginning I had whitebait and my man had the pate that was just the right size and not to fill. drinks were also good.

this is a crisp place, great atmosphere, eating looks fantastic. we had hoped to have some beer and eat a bit after our hardland hardbreaker run, but it was quite late on a Sunday afternoon afternoon, they stayed a bit longer open for us to have a few beers and offered to put on some chips because the kitchen had actually closed how good of them that was. highly recommended

I went to this restaurant for Valentine's night. I had the pork starter and my partner had the chicken supreme. We also shared a steak and biscoff cheesecake. Everything was delicious and the prices were very reasonable. I live nearby and don't go out often, but after this visit, I will definitely be returning. It was fabulous. Thank you.

I recently enjoyed a wonderful Valentine's Day menu at this restaurant. The meal included prawns for the starter, steak for the main course, and fudge cake for dessert. The steak was truly outstanding and one of the best I have ever had. I highly recommend this place. Special thanks to Michelle and Paul for a great dining experience.

receive a warm welcome at the arrival after booking a table. the personal is so friendly and cheerful. eating was excellent, much of it and good value for money. good selection of drinks at normal pub prices. dog-friendly, would certainly recommend a visit if they are in this beautiful part of devon

Good varied menu we can recommend the steak. We took 2 dogs with us one that we have just rehomed and had anxiety issues around other dogs. Staff were brilliant and very understanding of his issues. Sorry about his barking!
